In Chao’s FOREST series, Black Forest represents the dark nights of autumn and winter in Finland.

The detailed surface treatment creates a very elegant matte black. The 24K gold foil is meticulously attached on the silver by applying keum-boo, an ancient Korean technique. The brilliant color of gold symbolises the precious Nordic sunshine, that is cheerful and brings warmth to the heart.
